Plainfield Christian Church Rebranding

January, 2019

Goal: To develop a brand that stays true to Plainfield Christian Church’s rich history, while embracing and reflecting the new movement of the vision: “Impacting Homes by Opening Ours.” This new vision embodies the values of hospitality, neighboring, and using homes to effectively reach people for Christ in the community. Part of this rebrand was simplifying and aligning children (Treehouse Kids) and student (Pier 14 Students) ministries under one brand to PCC Kids and PCC Students. The logo icon is used in a variety of different ways—as a favicon, an emblem on service graphics, as magnets, on mugs and tumblers, on t-shirts, and more.

As part of the rebrand, I created two websites for Plainfield Christian: plainfieldchristian.com and mypcc.info. Before COVID-19, plainfieldchristian.com pointed people who have not attended the church to the “Plan Your Visit” page on the website. Currently, this website focuses on how the church can help during the pandemic and to watch a service online. Mypcc.info is the inward-facing website that houses next-steps for congregants.
